What order do you put things on your resume?

Published

I have just over 1 year of nursing experience and my current layout is:

Name and contact info

Licenses and Certifications

Experience

Education

Organizations and Volunteer Experience

When I first graduated I had Education between Licenses/Certs and Experience (where I listed non-medical experience with descriptions relating it to nursing). Now that I have experience I've moved it up but the layout just seems....awkward to me in some way I can't put my finger on. How does everyone else order their resume?

This is the format I would use, except I have a different heading instead of licenses and certifications (something about skills highlights, don't remember the wording, but I put my ACLS, etc. there) and I don't use organizations and volunteer experience. That fills up a page for me. Nothing fancy.
