What are your non nursing passions?

I am nearly done with nursing school and one of the reasons that I got into it was because I love fly fishing. A 3 on, 4 off schedule is good for my fishing habits. Traveling to different parts of the country (hopefully world) to fish, and still have a job, is the dream. Did anyone else get into nursing for these reasons? Does anyone else have a passion that a nursing schedule allows them more time to do it?

I have ridden horses my entire life and compete. I also have a small herd of cows that keep me busy. I also love to travel to the caribbean as money allows. I am not working right now, but when I go back, I plan on working 2-3 nights a week to allow for time to do other things.

Animals! The nursing schedule was attractive to me as well because of horse shows. I am most likely getting out of horses now but maybe I'll get back into it eventually. But I do at least compete with my dog in herding, agility, and obedience. I also have two ferrets. I really hope to one day have a hobby farm with sheep and some other things. I love being outside and taking care of livestock.

I also enjoy photography. I used to draw a lot but that takes more space and supplies. Plus photography is more instant gratification.

Gardening is my other passion besides spending time with family. Gardening is my "dirt therapy." I love to see what transpires from a tiny seed into different vegetables or beautiful flowers and herbs. I also love raising chickens.

I love being outdoors. I really enjoy gardening. We hope to move somewhere warmer in the next 10 years so I can do much more of both.

I love doing hair! Braids especially. I actually have a long list of loyal clients. I haven't had to work a job because my hair braiding skill have paid my tuition for the last 2 semesters. I love hair; relaxed. Natural, long, short. I love it all and i love making women look and feel beautiful.
