I would like to hear from some research nurses as to what they like about being a research nurse? Do you find clinical trials interesting? Is this area of nursing rewarding to you? Thanks! :)

I know this post is from 2012- Not sure if you're still interested, but if you look on the BayCare job board there is a posting for a chart audit/review RN. I think there might be some kind of informatics role involved too, but the title of the posting is for chart audits.

Hello everyone. I am currently working bedside but have always wanted to do research. I have a BSN and chemistry degree and would love to find out HOW TO GET A JOB WITH NO EXPERIENCE. Every job always ask for at least 1 year of clinical research experience but it is not like bedside where you can get a internship/residency. Please help I'm in DFW.

I've been an inpatient Nurse for 2 years on a specialty unit, have an ADN enrolled in online BSN program and have a BS in Education. There is a research nurse position that is for clinical trials on one of the specialties of my unit so I think I have a chance but.....

Excel is mentioned specifically and I am weak in Excel as I haven't used it that much. I took a whole class on it at a community college years ago but "use it or lose it" and I haven't had a job where I needed to use it. How much do you create documents using Excel?

Thank you in advance!!!
