I agree, go ahead and apply now and see if you can get in. If not, you will get in fall 2005. It never hurts to try. As long as you take your NET test and turn in your application before the deadline you will still be considered for a position. It doesn't matter if you are the first application in or the last, they still look at every one and pick the best qualified. Good luck!
I say apply. The school I was accepted to, said they looked over applications before the deadline, but no decisions were made until two weeks later. Ex: December 31 was the deadline. Started reviewing applications the week of January 12th.
I took my CNET before the deadline - and a month after my application!
Thanks everyone.
I emailed the Nursing Dept. and they seemed to think I should just send it in also.
She said to just put the date I plan on taking the exam onto the application. The results
for the NET take about a week to come back, which gives me a bit of a cushion before
the closing date.
I am still pretty sure I won't make it in for Spring 05 but you never know.....

My school started taking applications for Spring 05 today. I have not taken the NET yet
but will on April 17th. I spoke to someone in the office who told me I could take the NET
anytime but wouldn't you know, you can't just walk in anytime to take the test. Apparently,
it is a scheduled thing. The last one was administered on 3/13.
Anyway, as you all know, the competition is fierce and I am wondering if it will be a waste of my time to send my application in so late. I am thinking that it would really be nice to start in Spring but it looks like my best chance at acceptance would be for Fall 05.
What would you do if you were in my position?
Man, this whole process is starting to really tick me off...
Thanks,
Deb
