What should I say?

Hi everyone,

I have an interview next week and I really need a job. I don't want to sound desperate or want to only get my foot in the system. I want to ask the right questions to the manager and to the peers that are going to do second half of the interview. Now, what should I ask nurses on a med-surg floor? I have worked on a step down/tele unit for 3 years. Please, Advice me. Also since it is different than my previous unit what should I say when they say: " why do you want to be on this floor (med-surg)?", or when they ask: "How are you going to add to our team?". thanks

Ask about teamwork. Do they work together as a team? And, as to why you want to work elsewhere than your current unit--you want a change of location/pace. You want to stretch your learning. You want to expand your horizons. How WILL you add to their team? This one may take some pre-planning. Have a well thought out "strengths/weaknesses" presentation. Good luck!

thank you for your thoughts and ideas I will consider them. and I will do some research in regard of what I should offer to the unit. :D
