I graduated in June from PCC. I haven't gotten a job, its killing me. I am going to have to start paying student loans, so I'm thinking about, sigh, going to Linfield for my BSN. Is it worth it?? Can any current RN-BSN online students tell me what its like and how much study time it takes?

Hello,
A nursing advisor at PCC recently told me the difference b/t a AA and a BSN is a job. She said count on getting the BSN if I want a job.

Huh, thats funny. I thankfully just a got a job. I wonder which Advisor that was?? But I think I am still going to get my BSN.... I really just wanted to hear what people in the Linfield RN to BSN program thought about the work load.
Thanks!!!

Question for you. Did you have any medical related experiece (e.g., CNA, or whatever) prior to apply to nursing shcool?
Thanks,
Not really. I did have my EMT-B cert. in CA, but I never worked as an EMT. I saw another post you wrote. I would apply at all the colleges if you can. I know that clackamas and Mt hood are already part of the OCNE program and PCC is working on theirs. I would also apply at alll the BSn programs too. Why not? The worst they will say is no.... I did enjoy nursing school and I think that even though there is a nursing new grad crunch right now nursing is AWESOME.

I did the Excelsior ADN program and got my RN and after I get through with being a "new nurse" I plan on doing their BSN program online. I have a family so online learning is great for me. Melissa RN EMT-P
