or your place of work. im just wondering if any places decide to let their staff dress up or anything fun. what about christmas?
we hold a community "trunk or treat" where employees go all out with costumes and games and the hospital supplies treats. Kids and families walk by the decorated vehicles to collect treats. Last year we had >3000.
No dress up in the hospital, except pedi nurses can wear seasonal tops, but nothing on face. Infection control prohibits. Same with other holidays. We decorate the hospital at Christmas but very discreetly.

I already asked and I was told that we weren't allowed to wear costumes, although the physician's sometimes do. :0 In response, I stated that I was still going to dress up. This year I'm going be a nurse! ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
