I know nothing about your system either, BUT if you were my daughter and were expressing similar interest I would make an appointment with a nursing advisor at a school that is of interest to you and pose these questions to him/her. Even in the United States the grade issue can vary from town to town and state to state. Here, it all depends on how many applicants there are for available student positions. For example, one college I applied to only REQUIRED that it's students have a 2.50 Grade Point Average (highest here is 4.00, unsure if this is the same in Canada) but since you have 300+ applicants for 60 positions they take those with the highest GPA's first. For us, this effectively meant that if we wanted a position we pretty much needed grades that were as close to perfect as possible. Since each college is a little different, I'd advise you to go directly to your schools of choice (or phone them) and get the information you need that's specific to that school. Good Luck!

Hi, I'm going to be graduating highschool next year and want to apply to the four year B.Sc.N program. I was talking to my dad, who is a teacher at a university and he said I will probably need better grades to get accepted into the program. I am getting high 80's and low 90's in all my subjects, and I don't know if those grades will be good enough to be accpeted. Do any of you know if those are good enough? Also, What is the difference between the BN and B.Sc.N? Thank you so much to anyone who can help me.
