What is going on with Excelsior Collge

What is going on with Excelsior College? Now Florida has a new rule for non- Floridan nursing schools.

Is their some kind of bias about Excelsior did they **** off some people? I thought it was hard to get through Excelsior, much harder than Chamberlain, which I attend now. I have been telling other LPN's to go through Excelsior, but maybe I should stop. If any body knows why these states are now requiring all this clinical time please post so I can tell others.

It does not matter why states are taking negative action with regard to EC, just that they are doing so; and prospective EC students need to move their behinds fast so that they get through the program and get their license before it happens in their state. No "reason" given holds water because these are the same states that accepted EC for so many years.

It happens from time to time. Its sad because EC grads are so safe. I don't understand Florida because they already said you had to be a LPN in order to do EC in their state. LPN is the basic foundation in nursing so their is no risk there. Its strange but I think Florida EC students need to band together like they did in GA. Your voice makes a difference. Keep us posted and contact EC and see what you can do to start a movement like the ladies in GA did.

This happens in some state, every few years. It's pretty typical. Here is the current list of states with issues, except that Florida's info is not up to date:
