What have been your favorite gifts from families?

I want to thank the teams that took care of a family member and know what I’ve really appreciated from families but am looking for more ideas.

And don’t worry, as a night shift nurse I am making sure it’s packaged and delivered in a way that gets to them too!

I agree with fruit, I also always loved a bagel breakfast spread.  And handwritten thank-you notes with specific examples of care you appreciated, and specifically naming the staff you appreciated, is so helpful. Makes the staff feel appreciated and management can tout their great care to their higher-ups and feel like they're doing something ?

I got a polar bear shaped Christmas card one time, with a note that said “I didn’t forget about you” made my day because I got it a week later!
