I would like to add this address to my 'Safe Senders' list so that it won't go straight to my junk box.
Also, how long does it take to for your registration to reflect on the Texas Board of Nursing website? I just registered with Pearson Vue via snail mail on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011. GVN status is supposedly granted when all the required items are received and dated on the Board's site, right? I'm just wondering because a classmate of mine (who applied a month before me) has all of her requirements dated on the site but her GVN Permit doesn't show up when she performs a search.
Not liking all the hoops here. Ugh.. I'm so frustrated.

It takes 4-6 weeks for your payment to Pearson Vue to be sent to the BON, recieved and then acknowledged by the BON from the time Pearson Vue recieves it. You should get an email from them once they have recieved payment I believe, though honestly I do not know how it all works when done snail mail. I would imagine it slows the entire process down quite a bit. Your ATT will come from Pearson Vue.
I do not think graduate nurse status is automatically granted anymore. I think you have to apply for it, but you will want to do a search on the BON website to get firm answers on that one.
We graduated the first week of December. All of us had registered online with Pearson Vue by the end of October. ATTs did not arrive for us until the 30th.
So, after some searching on the Pearson website, I found out that all correspondence from Pearson Vue comes from '@pearson.com'. So, in Hotmail, I was able to add that domain name to my 'safe senders' list. Thought I'd post this in case anyone found this post because they had the same question.
Our program director basically got all of our paperwork together for boards and applied for us, that's just how our school does it. They insist on doing it that way because they pay for our boards. If I had known, I would've just paid the fees myself and expedited the process by doing it online.
All of my other classmates (who didn't have eligibility issues like me) received GVN status 35 days after submitting online applications to the Texas Board of Nursing and Pearson Vue. I sent my paperwork on 12/28/11, so hopefully I'll get my GVN and ATT around the first of Feruary? I hope so, I need to work!
Got my receipt of Registration via the email I provided during my registration to Pearson Vue. That email tells me to wait 1 - 4 weeks for my board to update their site with my GVN status and aknowledge my registration with Pearson. Then I'll be issued my ATT letter.
