So here is where I stand. I am currently working in an SICU and finishing my RN-BSN right now. I should finish the BSN program in the next year. I have PALS, TNCC, and CCRN. I will also take the GRE the next year. What I am wondering is what else can I do to make myself competitive. My gpa is 3.5-3.6. My science gpa is 4.0. I just don't know if there are any other certifications that might be good to get. Anyways, any suggestions would be great.

I am planning on ccrn and maybe other specialty cert-card care or card surg. I am also gonna take some extra chemistry, as I do not have organic chem and haven't had reg chem in many years. I am also thinking about some of the intro courses online that some crna schools offer that you don't have to be accepted in the program to take...I don't know-I have a few years so that's why I am thinking of all of this. Trying to get the finances in line!

CMC or CSC would not hurt...
you cuold always take some masters level classes "to show you can cut that level work"
but on the whole you sound pretty good to go...
