There are many threads on this topic.

80% is the standard in most places, and was in my program. And no, there was no rounding up. Some pharmacology classes also require 90-100% on math calculation exams. In addition, many nursing courses have 3-5 divisions (clinical, lab, tests, case studies, etc.) and you must have at least 80% in each portion. No doing well in one and doing poorly in the other and having it average.

75% or better is what I have to get in order to move forward.

Specializes in ICCU - cardiac.

80% is passing, 79.99% is a D and failing and that's an ADN program in MI.

An 80% average and C or above in EVERYTHING is required at Delta College in here SE LA. Instructors say the area DRs/hospitals LOVE their grads, cause they are much better prepared than one needs to be. Tough, but the RNs ands classes are great-I just finished the 3rd week and i'm really enjoying it! Gotta STUDY!! :)

PS mine is an LPN program
