What is considered "Nursing Shoes"

Published

I was recently admitted to a nursing program that requires us to wear "nursing shoes". I'm not sure what the criteria are for "nursing shoes" but I generally see the shoes to look like this: Generic Nursing Clogs

I was wondering if there are any alternative I can wear that is still considered "nursing shoes".
Would something like this be considered "nursing shoes": Nursemates Men Shoes

The safest option would be for you to ask your program.

I did! And they said no sneakers!

For my program I bought some "Sticky" shoes off of Amazon. They are waterproof and have non-slip outsoles. Go on amazon - they have a good amount of options. If they say no sneakers, my guess is nothing that is breathable or that would allow fluid to pass through the shoe and slip resistant. Hope this helps! Good luck and congrats!!

Bless up thank you!!

Maybe they mean classic nursing shoes. Google classic nurse shoes and see if that gives you an idea. General these shoes are all white, white soles, white laces and white leather without embellishment. Think 1980's. LOL.image.png.80d306f9a59793c0b8667d05e995e9de.png

Hi, I was recently admitted into the program also starting this fall.

I bought the shoes at an uniform store.

Congrats ?
