I'm not a nurse, but I wonder what a nurse should do for this under some conditions. If the resident is A&Ox3, do you call the police if they are combative? If they are not, do you just try to change the environment and if that doesn't work can you send them out to the hospital for psych evaluation? Do you need an order to send a resident out for psych reasons?
