I am curious, I havent looked up any research regarding color of scrubs and pts. Curious nonetheless. Thanks!

i don't understand the rationale of your question. unless there's an enforced uniform policy, there is a multitude of prints and colors out there.
and it wouldn't matter if it's palliative care or any other unit.
the only time i've heard there's a color preference, is the drug-addicted (crack/coke) babies, who find bright colors too stimulating for their nervous system...

At the hospital I used to work for they had all one color scrubs for the Ob floor because we had a baby abduction there once. The nurses change in and out of those scrubs after they get to the floor. It's a way to know that any nurse in different scrubs does NOT belong there. They also have name badges and a security guard at the door to monitor who comes and goes on that floor.
In the OR where I work we all wear blue scrubs that are left and laundered at the hospital.
