What are the characteristics of carcinoma on the skin?

Chances are it is nothing serious, but it does need to be evaluated by your doctor.

Has the growth been there for awhile and just recently became 'lumpy', or is it a new growth altogether?

Whatever it turns out to be, it sounds like something that doesn't belong on your butt! Get it checked out asap.

ASAP! Don't wait two weeks. If it is serious, two weeks could make a big difference in the treatment/prognosis.
