What is my chance to get into Chamberlain College of Nursing

Nursing Students Chamberlain College

About a week ago, I took my HESI A2 and got 73% which they said is their passing grade. I just wanna know my chance of getting into Chamberlain. Right now, I have 3.12 GPA from the community college I'm attending, and they also asked for my high school transcript which is 3.5. Also, I let my advisor know that English is my second language and let her know my concerns about the English part of the test before even taking it. I'm scared of the decision because badly want to become a pediatric nurse.

Anyone here who got accepted at Chamberlain with 70s HESI score? I'm worried.

Hey there i am concerned about my admissions in chamberlain, i applied and i had to take hesi and i took it two times and i got 60% overall and i needed 73% for the hesi requirements, i scored really bad on english vocab and English is my second language. i am super scared whats gonna happen cause my admission advisor said that the comity is gonna decide and then she will give me a call next week whatever their decision they make. Anyone in this situation? HELP ME!!

Sorry to say, but PATIENCE is going to be your best friend. LOL There is a pretty significant difference between your score and the required score, but sometimes the sections that are related to the sciences are not counted against you. The great thing about Chamberlain is that your test scores are not the only aspect assessed.

Question, do you have a copy of the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book? It's for sale on Amazon and Ebay and it was a big help for my HESI exam prep.

You can email me if you would like and I can give you some more insight about Chamberlain. My email is [email protected].

Best of Luck!

thank you so much i just emailed you please check.

Did you let them know that English is your second language? Because before I took the exam I let them know that English is my second language so that they take it into consideration.

Hello, I am applying at the Sacramento Campus which is highly competitive. I wanted to ask around and see if you guys think I may have a shot of getting in. They told everyone applying that the HESI score they're looking for is an 87%. I got an 87.88% on the HESI. I graduated high school early with my GPA ranging from 4.0 - 4.8. I then attended community college and finished the main classes like math, English, a lot of social science classes, and anatomy and maintained a 4.0 GPA. I will be 18 when starting Chamberlain in January (assuming I get in), I turn 18 in a month or so...

Please do not think because as long as you pay because it is private, you can get in! At least for the Sacramento Chamberlain Campus, it is highly competitive. I had a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and HESI of 89% and was not accepted. A Chamberlain Sacramento advisor said that you have to have at least a 3.0 GPA and high 80s (87% at least) to be competitive because of the cap of 40 students.

The last person that the Sac advisor saw that was admitted had a HESI of 95%, but the pool is different for every review. Each review seems as though they allotted a certain amount of spots. I was told by an executive admission advisor (the person who calls you after your review ) that because of the cap of students and they turned people away applicants with extremely high HESI scores with competitive GPAs. Their just isn't enough spots for everybody.

The Sacramento advisor said because of the cap; it is NOT one of the schools that you can transfer from another Chamberlain Campus out of state if you are accepted. So, I am going to try my luck with a re-review and retake the HESI. If you retake your HESI, they only take the higher of your last two attempts. So, if it's your third attempt and you scored your highest score your 1st attempt, it's not considered.

I hope this helps!

Just curious, Did you get an academic and financial overview meeting before they told you you weren’t accepted?

So I am applied for Chamberlain in Phoenix I have a 4.08 GPA and I scored a  72.52 on my HESI will I get in? I'm curious do they round up?
