What can you tell me about Edinboro?

Published

Hi! I've been accepted into Edinboro's Innovative Nursing Program (Accelerated 2nd Degree), and was wondering what people's thoughts were about Edinboro.

Did you feel that the program (accelerated or traditional) adequately prepared you for your job?

What did you think of the professors?

The school's facilities?

How were the hospitals for clinicals?

For Innovative Program people, were you glad to have the summer off, or would you have preferred to complete the program in 12 months instead?

-What did you do with your summer off? Do you think this helped you get a job after graduation?

What was the town like to live in?

Would you recommend on- or off-campus living?

I've heard people say: have a four wheel drive vehicle. Would you consider this necessary?

Anything else??

Thanks in advance for your input! :)

Yeah I called up the nursing department and it had been fixed. Thank you. I got some information from the college park apartments. Their single ones already have a waiting list and I am not sure about the other rooms. Did you start your immunizations yet?

I just scheduled my classes, and had no trouble once I figured out what my password was. Let me know specifically what you are having trouble with and I'll do my best to help you out, unless you've already figured it out.

Have you decided on housing arrangements? I'm kind of curious what other people are planning on doing, since I haven't completely made up my mind. Thanks! :)

Hi alyjacks !

I was accepted into the innovative program too! I am also wondering where to live. If you decide toward off campus housing let me know! I'm looking for something within walking distance because of the winter weather !

I am excited to meet you all one day... Where are you guys from, what's your background?:)

I live an hour south of Edinboro and also looking for an apartment up there, somewhere quiet and not too far from the school. My background is in biology and I've been working in the lab for a few years now. I think I will be looking at apts some weekend and would like to find a roomate in the same program. What type of accomidations are you guys looking for?

Hey caye,

I live in NYC now so looking for apts right now from here is kind of difficult. I want a quiet place (I'm really serious about studying for this program and it wouldn't hurt to have a study buddy !) I'm looking for something not far from campus because of the winter weather. If anyone is interested in renting with me please let me know. I'm going to start a facebook page too tonight so we can all communicate that way.

Thanks!

Christina

Is anyone still looking for off campus housing/roomate/apt to share???

Am attending EUP now going for a 2nd degree. I plan to apply for the innovative nursing program for Fall 2012. I am interested in knowing what some of the interview questions they have asked over the years.
