  1. Also try REMAR Review (username) on youtube. She gives GREAT test taking tips in her youtube series. It came in handy for remembering things in a catchy way during my exam.
  2. I used the NCSBN 3 week study plan as well. I studied for my NCLEX like it was a full time job for a month straight. Questions, notes, questions, notes etc. I even downloaded apps to my iphone so when i wasn't at home and had downtime (waiting in line to buy something) I was answering questions. I started studying Jan 4th and took the exam Jan 31. I passed. It worked well for me. You just have to put the time and dedication into it. And really take note of the things you don't know and master them.
  3. Hey Doc, I thought you said you gave her stethoscope back?
  4. How's that for PERRLA?
  5. Nurse packs a punch! She must work on the trauma unit.
  6. Is anyone still looking for off campus housing/roomate/apt to share???
  7. I did! I even sent you a message...
  8. Hey I got into the program as well and housing is up in the air!!
  9. So I got a letter from Downstate. I was placed on the waiting/alternate list, which of course means that if space becomes available they'll let me know. I'm a little bummed but I'm keeping hope alive that someone declines admission or changes their mind last minute. Does anyone know how these lists work? Do they call people off the list randomly, in abc order, by rank?
  10. I sent my application in like a week before Jan 17th. I noticed on my application that it was sent to the nursing committee on Jan 26th. So I'm just waiting to hear back from them. Best of luck to everyone!!!
