What is the best option?

I am currently working a LTC/SNF job full-time 4-5 day a week. Pay is $18.90/hr, plus $1.00 shift diff for PM shift. I am looking into other facilities in my area due to pay and prefer to work day shift. I have an interview scheduled for Thursday this week. The pay is $20.30/hr base and not sure about differential amounts. The shift would be PMs....but the difference is Monday-Friday 3-11 OR weekend option. Right now I do EOW and various days through the week, except Thursday, because I have a class. IDK what I should do. Take the better paying job with a crappier schedule or stay where I am with a more preferred scheduled. I have one been here for about 3 weeks and I have gotten into a good routine.

What would you do? Thanks!

When I first started out, I worked weekends (Fri, sat, sun, mon) Ever weekend and I had to find my own coverage. It was awful. (Also 3-11 shift). I had no time to spend with my family (my husband works Sun-Thurs, nights) and couldn't go to family functions. Honest, if I were in your shoes, I would stick with the lower pay. Honestly, a crappy schedule is NOT worth the extra money.

I am so glad I got out of LTC> I detest 8 hour *****. :) I wish you the best of luck. Do what you believe is going to be best for you.
