I'm going to be taking the NCLEX in the end of January. I'm enrolled in a Kaplan review class for early January, but I've heard from others that the Dr. Martin review class is better. Should I take both? How soon before should I take these classes?

I took Hurst and loved it and, in looking at the Kaplan review materials, I felt that the Hurst materials are superior. But I didn't take Kaplan or Dr. Martin (never even heard of Dr. Martin).
I think you should take the classes giving yourself at least a four days to a week to go back over the materials you got in class prior to taking the exam. I wouldn't recommend taking a class that ends on Friday and signing up for the exam on Monday.
However, I would also look into Suzanne's plan if I were you. I didn't, but I have read nothing but great things about it and she doesn't charge hundreds of dollars.

I used Kaplan's review course completed all questions about 1000 qbank questions until i got each and every one right. Also plan on doing the q trainers. and a week before my nclex-rn exam i decided to learning extension i did all of the 1200 just once. i didn't read an nclex book. I just couldn't. and i passed my first try w/ 75 questions.

Have you tried this review? Is it good? Also, I do not see the cost of the program listed. Thanks.
