What was your acceptance letter like?

I'm in the nail biting 3 month waiting period to see if I got accepted into my community college ASN program. All I know is that they send out notifications anytime between January and March.

So now everytime I get something from school I have a mini panic attack. Today for example I got an envelope with my name seen in a nicer cursive in the window. Turned out to be the notification that I got on the Deans List... let down, lol.

It got me wondering? what was your acceptance letter like?did it just come in a regular envelope? Or could you immediately tell it was different? Did it come in a package with paperwork and directions or was it a lone piece of paper?

Mine came in a "small" letter too. I thought it was another rejection letter (got rejected from a BSN program as well), since the "big" letters are usually acceptance packages and the "small" letters were rejection letters, so I didn't even open it. Well imagine my surprise when I finally mustered the courage to open up what I expected to be as another rejection letter. Then other small letters came too...they were all rejections LOL. But it didn't matter at that point. I honestly at that point did not realize how competitive the pool was, I was so sure I would get accepted into most of the programs. High GPA (3.75), ok TEAS score, letters of recommendations. I thought I had it in the bag.

Mine came in a plain business envelope from the college. The only thing that tipped me off that it might be my acceptance letter was in the return address - it came from the nursing department. I was scared to death to open the envelope, then I think there might have been some screaming involved!
