Hi,
I’m currently a pre-nursing student at the college of William and Mary. My end goal is to become a CNRA. I’m trying to find a top notch ABSN program that won’t kill my GPA, has a strong retention rate and CRNA schools will look most favorably on. I’m also curious if my GPA is in a good place- I have a 3.6 overall GPA and 3.68 science GPA. I’ve done well in most of my prereqs but am taking physiology and Chemistry soon. I have 800 experience hours as a pharmacy tech, 250 as a caregiver, lots of anesthesia shadowing hours and also played D1 football for two years as a quarterback. I’m a male health sciences BS major. If anyone has some suggestions I would be very greatful. I’ve been looking into places such as UPenn (reach) UMIAMI and Drexel- location and price doesn’t matter, I just want to go to a place that will make me the most competitive applicant

In your place, I would look for a university that has both ABSN as well as CRNA programs that you might be interested in in the future. An application with recommendations from current faculty members will be quite strong!
