Hello all! I'm creating a thread to come in contact with those applying for Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) Sugar Land ADN program for Spring 2025. I recently submitted my application through mail, and I would like to know if any others did the same.. and if so did they email you a confirmation letter upon receiving your application. Thank you!
Just got more info on the program, if anyone doesn't gain acceptance for the sugar land campus they will recommend that person to the Wharton campus. Which will get them automatic acceptance, for the next upcoming semester. One of my coworkers applied to the sugar land campus last year, and didn't get accepted he met ALL the requirements.

YEP! heard that too, I just did an application for another program UT Health. Asked my past AP study group about the program, and many of them said it's hard to get into the sugar land campus due to so many applicants and other stupid reasons. So many of them just went on to apply for a BSN program because it's not so much of a hassle I decided to do the same.
They know the sugar land campus is convenient for everyone distance wise so they want to play hardball. I told a couple of my other friends who applied for Spring to start applying for other places.

My coworker giving me the deets on the sugar land campus really made me wished I never applied, they literally keep tons of people on stand by for future semesters. Which is so screwed because that makes first time applicants have a harder chance getting accepted, they basically automatically accept past rejected applicants and only sprinkle in a few first time applicants every new program semester.

No thank you for informing me, yeah I saw that too. I believe they pick the people with the highest points, then place them through a lottery system.
