Hello all! I'm creating a thread to come in contact with those applying for Wharton County Junior College (WCJC) Sugar Land ADN program for Spring 2025. I recently submitted my application through mail, and I would like to know if any others did the same.. and if so did they email you a confirmation letter upon receiving your application. Thank you!

Oh wow sorry that happened to you, I will be making a call tomorrow. Really hate they don't send out confirmation emails, do you know when we are supposed to hear back about acceptance?

I have no idea, older threads say we should hear around late September/early October. Don't know if that still applies though, I applied to the Wharton campus program as well because people say the sugar land program is very competitive.

Did not know the sugarland campus was competitive, thank you so much for telling me I will now apply to other programs.

you're welcome
I didn't know they were competitive! Do you know what the typical TEAS scores are for those admitted?

I don't really know the TEAS scores, but I do know that many people who apply already have a bachelors or certifications; which boosts their point system above those who don't. The people I've spoke with said that the program focuses a lot on the applicants science GPA, and the amount courses they took that's related to the BSN bridge.

Glad to know, I didn't really finish all of the courses for BSN. Hopefully I still have a chance of acceptance! I also called too and they didn't have my application packet either, I'm guessing it was a mail issue.

OMG good thing you called. You should be fine if your overall GPA, science GPA, and TEAS scores are good. But what annoyed me the most was the statement on the application packet that basically said "even if you meet the requirements, it doesn't guarantee acceptance". I know they go by a point system, but that statement made it sound like they are doing a lottery system method as well.
