WGU So Cal August Cohort

I just submitted my application for the August cohort. I will be coming from San Diego, so will do my clinicals [presumably] in Orange County. If you're applying for August in So Cal, feel free to pop in and commiserate. :)

I'm waiting to hear about August as well. However, I'm not holding my breath. When I spoke to my admissions counselor, she strongly advised me not to retake the TEAS. She said that I have a solid file, the only reason I wouldn't make it in is because my area is super competitive. So despite her advice, I will retake the teas in 2 - 3 weeks. Here are my stats:

Teas: 84.7%

GPA: 4.0

Experience: 4 years as an LVN.

I don't know. I don't want to get my hopes up. We will see, though. I don't think I'll get in this round but who knows? I'd be happy if I did! I'm sure there's so many strong candidates.

I hope we are studying together in August! Omg the waiting is killing me. I log in to the portal every day, just in case í ¾í´¦í ¼í¿»*♀️.

People in the Texas August cohort are already getting in, so hopefully not too much longer. I got an 89 on the TEAS and my counselor also advised me not to bother retaking, so we will see.

I know one person who has been accepted. He had previously been accepted in the April cohort that was cancelled. Nothing for me yet.
