Hi,

Is anyone currently in or applying to ’s pre licensure in Dallas,Texas?

I was also chosen for the December 1st cohort.

I’m kinda confused! Haven’t heard back anything yet and my status is still qualified for consideration. Does that mean I haven’t been accepted to any cohort yet? I asked my advisor a few times and all I’m getting is that I need to wait for an email or phone call

Does anyone know when the next few cohorts are? Is it every month?

I got an email saying I was accepted last Friday. I had to reply that I accepted the offer and then I had to schedule an appointment for an advisor to call me. He sent me an email with 6 (I think) modules I have to watch before he calls back next week. From what I understood, once the modules and the financial stuff are finished I’ll just wait for orientation and my schedule before the December 1st start date. I was originally told classes started in October but I was told this week it would be December. I think it depends on space availability of the hospitals they’re partnered with. I’m not positive. It’s a little confusing.

Thanks for the info! I’m going to call them tomorrow and see if I can get more info on the start dates and whether they are accepting anymore into the December cohort.

I'm so excited to say that I'll be starting the UTSW cohort on November 1st!! I got a call from my advisor letting me know today and I guess they are still accepting for the Dallas cohort

I got an 82 on my Teas and I think they want a higher score on the reading section. My GPA was somewhere between 3.4-3.5 and I had an associates in Biology.
