I have not heard anything yet and checked online but have not seen anything to show otherwise. Did they call you? Has your status changed online from, "Qualified for Consideration?"

So I received a call and my status changed to admitted. But my friend did not receive her call yet and her status changed to admitted today!

How did you guys choose the UTSW cohort? I didn’t really get a choice but I did move from another state and apply before I did

I haven’t heard back either. It still says Qualified for consideration. What are the chances of being denied?? I’m so anxious to find out! I login every ten minutes!

I was just recently employed at UTSW and I mentioned that in my letter of intent. Do y’all think they would avoid putting me in that cohort since I work there?

I just told my advisor that UTSW was my preference when we first started talking. I’m honestly not sure if your employment would lessen your chances of getting into that cohort or not. I wouldn’t think so but I’m not positive! ?

Any news from either of you? ???

So WGU made their final selections already. There were over 60 applicants for 10 spots. I did not make it in, but I'll be considered for the next cohort.

I do not think that employment at UTSW will necessarily disqualify anyone from the nursing program. I believe they look at the applicant as a whole (grades, work, experience, TEAS scores, Letter of Intent, etc). Don't give up! Keep trying ?

Congratulations to you all! Let us know what the first month is like and how class meetings in Dallas and clinicals are scheduled...and any other pertinent info.
