WGU Pre-Licensing BSN Cedar Sinai October 2015 cohort.

Nursing Students Western Governors

Hey everyone. Are there any other potential students working towards the October cohort???

Where are you in your process so far??

Let's Connect!!!

I'm shooting for the cedars cohort in 10/15. Pm me if you want to connect.

Yay!!! Lets do this!

I am also going for the October 2015 Cedars cohort. I still have 2 more classes that I am currently taking thru straighterline. Let's keep in touch with each other.

Awesome!! I also have 2 classes to complete.

I am attending El Camino College for a Physiology Class with Lab to cover the portion I am missing.

I took A&P 1 and 2 but the 2 was taught by the most horrible teacher whoever existed at National University. Just about everyone barely passed and have to retake it because the grade was not good enough. So I am taking Physiology with a lab to cover those credit.

I also have to do a Psychology Life Span and Development Course. I am debating whether to CLEP It or take El Camino's Online Course.

I have to also accomplish my TEAS Exam.

I can't wait til its time to start the program. I am excited.

I am too. I'm kind of nervous as well because I hear that they only accept 14 students each cohort. I am so ready to just get in there and get this over with. I have to take micro and humanities but I am thinking about Clep'ing humanities.

Really? I heard its 20 students.

It was 12 seats last month. Hopefully it's 20 seats next year

WOW! That's crazy!

I will be applying to the Oct 2015 cohort with Cedars-Sinai as well. I only need 1 more class and the TEAS 5 Exam. I was told 12 get accepted and only 10 are accepted into the actual program. I'm guessing its highly competitive. Will you be apply to all cohorts or just the one at Cedars-Sinai? Thanks!

Hey guys! I'm in the pre-nursing term for Cedars. I try to read all the posts and answer because when I was doing research, there was no information! Our cohort has 12 students and only 10 of us will proceed into the nursing program. We're hoping they'll take all 12 of us. Maybe when you apply next year they will accept more into the program. In the meantime, I recommend nailing the TEAS (shoot for over 95%), and make sure you have some kind of certification or healthcare experience or volunteer experience, or all three. PM me if you have questions. Good Luck!

SoonerBredExpat - I am new to this site and unfortunately cannot PM you. When did you start the Cedars cohort? How do you like it so far? I would like to know more about the TEAS V exam aside from scoring 95% which seems tough. How did you study for it? Are you currently working? I work at Cedats-Sinai currently an hope to apply and get accepted next year. Did you apply to all cohorts or or only for Cedars?
