Hi, I am really considering enrolling in WGU online RN-BSN program. I have been a RN for 7 years and I really want to get my BSN. I want to hear from anyone who is currently enrolled or recently graduated from WGU. Do you like it? What don't you like? How does the testing work? Anything you can tell me would be helpful. Thanks.

Graduated in Jan. I loved WGU. No group work, go at your own pace. When I had a period of heavy OT at work I slowed down and it was never a problem. I took 2 1/2 semesters to finish. Much more support than Excelsior College where I took 6 yrs to get my RN!

This will soon be moved over to the WGU forums, I assume. I went to WGU for a BSN and later an MBA. Love WGU - was able to do a degree in a short period of time and for a lot less money than anywhere else. You won't regret it (and no, I don't work for them).

I like it and don't like it.
I like that it's self-paced. I don't like that it isn't very structured.
I like that I can rev through and pass a lot of stuff at once. I don't like that there are no real consequences if I blow off a month.
If you have ADD or low self-discipline, this program is hard to finish.
If you like online learning, like having nobody standing over you making you do it, and like the freedom to go as fast or as slow as you want, then it's perfect.
