Just checking out WGU program

I've been trying to find information as well. Does anybody on this board actually go there? I have a phone call with a counselor on Saturday and am interested in the prelicensure BSN.

Specializes in Home Health,CCM.

I recently graduated from their RN-BSN program. Absolutely loved it! It is the most flexible program I could find, which I needed with my hectic schedule.

I just applied to their RN-MSN program. There are many threads on here about WGU. Perhaps you could be more specific with what questions you have? Also, which program are you considering? The clinical RN program is very different from the RN-BSN and RN-MSN programs.

I graduated in March from RN-BSN program, not prelicensure, and I loved it , very flexible and everyone was very helpful and encouraging. I would get my nurse practitioner there if they offered it.

Hi catslady56. Just wondering if you pursued on your NP? Im planning on going to WGU to get my BSN and was wondering if schools with NP program accept WGU's BS? I know UcLA does but I want to know how competitive it is. I'm worried that since wgu gives pass/no pass credit, where "pass" equals to a "B", that I won't be competetive enough

Hi, I did apply to 2 programs in AR. I'm now in my 2nd semester at UAMS and I really like it. No problem getting in but had to take GRE. Also not sure about WGU's pass/ fail . My GPA was about 3.2 before , and after WGU so not sure how it affected it. Good Luck, you will like it.:yeah:
