  1. Hi! Just wondering what you have decided on? Im kind of in the same dilemma right now :)
  2. do i have to have pathophysiology completed prior to application? or could it be taken after admission to CSUDH?
  3. Im not sure if this has been addressed....but I can't seem to get a hold of anyone from schoolwho knows. I have seen statistics as prereq on some programs...i have taken all calculus + linear alg+ differential equations because of my chem engineering degree. Is the statistics a MUST have? I would guess this is a lower level math, but people i've talked to make it seem that this math is more specific on the health professionals so i still must take it. Anyone please clear this up for me. Appreciate it :)
  4. I have a chem engineering degree from UCI. My plan is to get a 2nd degree in nursing. And as the previous post said, i am getting my certification as nursing assistant to get the feel if nursing is for me. Don't know how hard it is to get into accelerated BSN or entry level MSN but i'm taking it one step at a time. Try to get as much experience as I can. I just hope I do well in this field.
  5. Hey guys, to those interviewed at the Clinical Extender Program, can you give me ideas as to what kind of questions they asked? I'm planning on applying in the future...not anytime soon. I have too many priorities at the moment. I'm just curious as to how the interview/selection process is. How many questions did they ask? are they tough? can you give me examples? It sounds like a great program to be involved with. Good luck to you!
  6. Can someone give specific examples of questions theyve encountered on the interview?
  7. Hi, did you ever apply for concordia? How was it? I'm definitely thinking of applying on this school. I have a BS on another field and thinking of changing fields. Pls let me know how it went
  8. Hi burntoutrn, im interested in asking you more info regarding wgu. Im planning on goin tere for my bsn and later pursue NP. Do most universities accept wgu's bsn? Also, they have a pass/no pass grading system where pass means "B". Would this make it harder to get in NP programs because of competetiveness?
  9. Hi catslady56. Just wondering if you pursued on your NP? Im planning on going to WGU to get my BSN and was wondering if schools with NP program accept WGU's BS? I know UcLA does but I want to know how competitive it is. I'm worried that since wgu gives pass/no pass credit, where "pass" equals to a "B", that I won't be competetive enough
  10. Hi! I'm still trying to start on my prereqs hopefully this summer. Most likely, I won't be able to make it by Oct. 11. Do you know how their enrollment goes? I mean, how many months from Oct until they take in new set of enrollees? Also, how strict are they on these prerequisites? Do they really require completion of each and every one of them? Thanks
