Westminster Nurse Anesthesia 2018

Published

Anyone applying to Westminster this year? I know their clinicals are a little all over the place, but does anyone know if all the states belong to the compact nursing license states? Anyone have advice on interviews for them? Thanks!

Specializes in SRNA, ICU and Emergency Mursing.

No, but will you please enlighten us after your interview? I'm sure we all want to know what the interview entails.

FYI- they are still making calls... not sure how many more they have to do.

My interview is on the 25th. Sounds like mostly get to know you questions with maybe an easy clinical question.

Congrats and sounds good. How many dates did they offer you? The people I know still haven't received calls. We're all PICU/Peds CVICU nurses. I know that they usually prefer some adult experience, so potentially that's what's killing us. I'll let y'all know if any of us hear anything.

There were "a few spots" on the 25th (one of which I took) and then spots on the 5th and 29th. Exact words :)

That makes me feel a little better then. I was afraid that you would say that there is only one date left to choose from! I'll hold my thumbs and keep my fingers crossed.

There is still a "list" too. I don't know how long that list is.... crossing fingers it is long enough for all of you!

I got "the call" today half an hour ago. I went into PSVT for a minute. They had slots available in October and nov.

Congratulations!! What are they doing over there? Making 1 call a day for 50 days? This dragging out of calls is horrendous...:banghead:. I know many of you have been applying to places for a while, but this is my first round and I'm having some difficulty with this emotional rollercoaster...:nailbiting:

I'm still applying other places, but it's good to know they have spots left... although little hope left at this point...

Thanks... be patient. I was losing hope too, don't lose hope..

Have you received info for the interview day yet?

Has anyone heard from anyone who interviewed on 10/8? Dying to know if they are accepting people on the spot this year, as I've read that they sometimes do.
