Westminster CRNA 2020

Hey all! I have submitted my application to Westminster CRNA for 2020! I have talked to the school and they said that we should be hearing about interviews in October. Anybody else apply or waiting to hear from another school?

So I interviewed at 10:40 am. There was only 1 person after me. They said a bunch of people flaked. So at the most 10 people could’ve interviewed since they started at 8 am but I bet it was less than that even. I would love to know how many slots they had left to fill.

I started the interviews off at 0800, when I got there she had the list out and it wasn’t a ton of people. I know after me nobody was scheduled until 0920. I can’t believe people would flake on an interview like this, blows my mind. So not a lot of people interviewed Monday.

Especially if they said “yes” Then didn’t show and took an interview away from someone else.

Somebody in the beginning of the thread said they got accepted. Not sure if it was on the spot but obviously they are not letting all 24 know via mail.

Hopefully. But maybe the 50 denials Will get a letter.

They got accepted on the spot. Haven’t heard of anyone getting called or a acceptance by mail yet.

I’ve only heard of one person getting accepted. Anyone know of any more that got accepted?

That was the original poster of the thread- has anyone heard from him since? He never responded after being asked

Yes, I private messaged him. He said it was on the spot after his interview.

I interviewed in the beginning as well and was offered a spot at the end of my interview. I was then accepted elsewhere and am going with another program so I have submitted my decline letter. Don’t lose hope!

GPA 3.75 I think, 6 years total as a RN, a little over 2 in ICU. I have all the usuals that programs ask for CCRN, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and some trauma specific TNCC, TCAR. Never did charge nurse. Other programs I applied to sounded like a lot of the applicants look the same on paper and it was just getting to know you as a person and how you handle the stress of the things they throw at you during interviews.
