Westminster College CRNA App: Start 2023

Published

Hey all,

Let's watch this Westminster College application process together!

Notes: the app went live July 1, 2022 and the deadline is September 30, 2022. Sounds like interviews were in October last year and decisions went out October/November.

Post if you find out anything to share! Good luck to us all!

I am a part of the group that applied kind of late, I finished my application on September 26th, but I got an interview invite on 10/6 with everybody else.

That’s super helpful and good to know. Thank you for telling me! Sounds like I more likely just didn’t get an interview then. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know when or if we will be able to apply for the June and August cohorts?

Good luck to everyone interviewing today!

It's very odd that some of us haven't heard back one way or another. I applied in August and they haven't sent a rejection letter or anything else.

Yeah… My assumption is that means we just didn’t get interviews. I emailed Rebecca with admissions to confirm and haven’t heard back. I understand not getting an interview- rejection is part of the process. I just think it’s rude and unprofessional to not tell people what’s going on when time and money were put into applying for their school….

To all those that did get interviews though, GOOD LUCK!!

My guess is that they are holding off on sending rejections until they have interviewed and feel that they have 24 qualified candidates to fill the seats. If they don't find the right "fit" from the first batch of interviewees, then they might reevaluate the other applicants for potential interviews.

I received an email with the rejection. I can live with that, it’s just nice to know where I stand.

I’m assuming I will hear the same soon then. Good luck with the other schools that you are pursuing!

You might, but maybe not! Fingers crossed for good news for you. Thank you, you too!

Now that interviews are done, did anyone get an on the spot offer? I know those are sometimes handed out but sound like they tapered off in more recent years. They told me we’ll hear in 1-2 weeks with decisions but I’m hopeful it might be sooner!

Nope, I wish!

I really liked the faculty.

Good luck!
