Western University MSN-E 2018

I haven't seen any forums about the upcoming application for next year's MSN-E program so I thought I'd start! I have a degree from University of Oregon in Human Physiology with experience as a Medical Scribe and in a variety of PT and Chiropractic settings! (Switched from PT/Kinesiology to Nursing!) I'm interested in the FNP track and am really excited about Western. Feel free to post any questions/stats/etc and join me in freaking out over apps! Are any of you attending any of the upcoming information sessions as well?

@SomedayFNP - Thanks for getting back to me and answering my question. I didn't realize USD's FNP program was like that. Well I hope you get into Western- hopefully we both get in This wait is killing me

Of course no prob! :) I didn't realize it either until I showed up for the two day interview thing. The first day they were like "this is NOT an NP program". I hope we do too! If not then I'll just keep applying to Azusa 3 times a year until they let me in lol

Congrats! Did you have a formal interview at Western?

Thanks! I went to the EAOD on Feb 7th and was accepted like 1-2 weeks after that date. I hope you all who are still waiting get in!! If its not one school it will be another school. The right school will end up accepting you so never give up!! :)

I don't think all the spots would be filled because I remember them saying they will accept 50-60 for this cohort.

Oh! That's encouraging! APU's cohort size is 20 and Samuel Merritt's is 24! SO SMALL!
