Hi! Is anyone else applying for Western U's MSN-E program? I hadn't seen a thread out there yet for fall 2017. I'm a little nervous about the cost of this program. What are your thoughts about the program, cost, structure, time of completion, etc?

not everyone had class only 4 days a week first semester. First semester I had Friday and Sundays off. Everyone is guaranteed Sunday off, but thats when you study. It just depends. Look best advise and thing you can do is stop right now trying to plan your schedule of what its going to be. Things come together last minute and ultimate you get the experience you need to get. For shoes, school requires all black shoes. If you are going to get the dansko clogs, remember to get a full size larger - feet swell, so many people had issues with those. If you got accepted into the program, search for the closed group page titled Western University of Health Sciences Cohort XIV and we will add you all there where you can chat and connect with each other. We are excited to meet you all and help you out as the previous cohort did for us.

I just had my EAOD today if anyone else got a future day for this and wants to know more about it!

Hi, sorry for the late comment but I just received an email for the EAOD for 2018 and was wondering if you could tell me a bit about your experience on that day? Was the writing prompt stressful and how much weight did it have towards your acceptance? What did they ask you to write about? Is there anything else you can tell me from that day? I am extremely excited but want to make sure I'm fully prepared! Also, how likely are my chances of getting in?

Hi there! I was just recently accepted into WesternU's MSNE program and am originally from Washington State. If you have any pointers or can give me any insight about moving and/or the distance-learning from WA, I'd really appreciate it!

It is 3 years. First 4 semesters is pre-licensure and the next five is online with one weekend each semester for the master's part.
