Westcott Chemistry

Hi! I am finishing up my prerequisites before starting my program this fall. I am taking Principles of Chemistry through Westcott (this is my 4th class through Westcott) and I am extremely nervous about the final for this one. Has anyone completed this course and what were your thoughts? How did you best prepare for the final exam? This one in particular feels very daunting. Thank you!

How did the final go? I just completed my assignments and am worried about this final.

I have it scheduled for next week. My strategy has been to study all of the quiz questions and the midterm- hoping that this will work? This final feels extremely overwhelming.

Yes I agree. There are so many equations to know. The professor emphasized knowing the key terms. It seemed like the midterm had a decent amount of questions regarding definitions.

Yes! I received the same feedback from her. I was going to attempt to go through all of the exercises at the end of each chapter too but I honestly don't see how it's possible!

Hi, Did any you take the final? I have 1 more discussion left and need to take the final ASAP for a deadline. How was the exam and how did you study?

Hi Becky, How did your final go? Any advice on course content? What do we need to focus on for quizzes, midterm and final? Did you find a lot quiz and midterm questions in final exam? Is it just enough number to pass or majority of questions were from quiz and midterm?

Hi Becky, What other courses did you take at Westcott?  How were those courses formatted [meaning were the questions on the mid-term and final questions from the of each chapter questions]?  Also, if you have any study tips to provide me because the school I am pursuing told me about Westcott so it is not a matter of if the school will take the courses I just need to know if their material will fit my learning style. =]

Hi. I can't be any help for chem as I am starting chem next week. Can you please share details about final after you write it?

I have a Microbiology final soon. I am re-studying my notes but there are 24 chapters and I feel like I am forgetting whatever I am learning. Can you share any tips if you took Microbiology final?
