does anyone know for sure of when they will send out acceptance letters or notify applicants of acceptance? or even an interview?

Oh is it coming by mail? I wasn't sure if it was coming by snail mail or email. I need to run by the post office then and check. Oh God, I hope I got accepted. I'm scared to drive to the post office now!

I finally checked my post office box this morning! I got my acceptance letter into the Spring 2010 accelerated nursing program at Tulane Medical Center as well! Looks like I will be seeing you two at orientation! I'm so excited!!!!!!!

On my acceptance letter, it says "Your acceptance is contingent upon: 3. All health and safety requirements must be completed and up-to-date prior to matriculation in the ASN program." Does anyone know what they mean by that? I don't fully understand. It's kind of vague. Are they just referring to the immunization shots?

Also, the first day of class is January 11, 2010?

I think it does mean the immunization requirement. Also I think we are supposed to have current CPR certification. They will also run background checks to make sure we can get licensed. I'm sure we'll complete many forms during orientation.

I haven't seen a start date anywhere, but Jan 11 would be great with me :) Getting sooo excited!!!

I don't have a current CPR certification. How do I get one and where? Also, I saw the first day of class when I looked at class schedules for Spring 2010. Go all the way to last page of that document and it says Tulane location with the day and the times.

Thanks for the class information! I'm not current on my CPR either. I'm going to look around over the weekend for a class. I'll let you know what I find.
