Hello Everyone! West Hills Nursing program applications will be opening up soon, so I decided to start this forum for 2022 application period. Anyone else applying? I applied last year but my application was thrown out due to not submitting CPR/BLS from AHA. If my calculations are correct I will be applying with 89.32 points. Good luck to everyone!

Those stats are good! At least West Hills and FCC.. you just need a 62 on the TEAS. They don’t give any extra points for it like COS does. Do you have any healthcare experience?

I work Valley Childrens and getting that experience is what helped boost my points. I was only at 81 last year but this time around I got the 8 points for acute care experience. Good for you.. working that hard and having 4 kiddos! It’s not easy.. I have 3 of my own, so I totally can relate. I applied to SJVC this year and got in but at the end of the day I just couldn’t bring myself to pay $60k for an ADN program and declined my spot. Maybe that is an option for you if you don’t get into any of the Community colleges. Hang in there though.. I know how discouraging it can all be! I am hoping and praying this is my year but if not I will just keep trusting that when the time is right it will happen!

I was reading through the requirements & I didn’t see it say that the CPR certificate had to be a pdf.
I don’t think so I forgot to submit my driver’s License and I call to ask and they said it should be fine

I did FCC and Visalia. Honestly I worked so hard to get here and to hear you don’t have enough points it sucks.
