@karengalvez yes they will take your transcripts and let you know if they go through and it’ll lower your tuition by a lot especially if you qualify for fafsa and cal grants. ?

Good morning!

Do you mind to share by how much approximately price went down ? Like half or like 50k?
Thank you !

Hi I will be starting wcu this June and I'm so excited. I have all of my prereqs done so I'll start out with wcu's required prereq classes. I was wondering if someone can give an update on how the program is going for them?

Congratulations on starting the program!
How many semesters they offer you after you transferred all prerequisites?

I have about 5 semesters plus one term which would be the wcu prereq classes. My graduation date will be August 21, 2022. How about you? Have you started any classes yet?

No I didn’t yet ... I’m debating between west coast and Azusa Pacific University .
I got accepted at APU and their program 2 years only and way cheaper (56k).. but it’s far LOL

That school is pretty far for me too. I live more inland towards moreno valley area. West Coast is pricey for sure, but its not as bad as the overall total if I had no prereqs done. The cost for me to attend is about 72k. If you already got accepted at APU I would go for it. is it for a bachelors in nursing? Congrats by the way for getting the acceptance!!

Hello!

I have a question for anyone who already is a student at WCU who took Pathophysiology: Did you purchase the optional book “Professional Guide to Pathophysiology“ Edition 4 By Laura Willis.
I’m not sure if I should purchase it because I’m wondering if it’s even helpful for the class. I’m taking Professor Baroon if that helps.

thanks!

Is anyone selling the Critical Reasoning book? For West Coast University. I want to buy it.

Can any current students tell me if West Coast University charges tutition by semester or by units? Also, if anyone could tell me the cost they had to pay after transferring prerequisties?

Hey sorry for late reply,

I do work at UCLA Westwood ER, however my overall GPA is not great, like 3.5 and science is 3.0.

I decided to choose APU, since west coast longer about 2.5-3 years , and also they not telling you the price upfront, they wanted me to wait 1 semester to see price for the rest of the year.
Anyway, I think you still have time to apply to APU, deadline is June 1.
