West Coast Univ students! Has anyone of you taken the challenge exams for their GED?

Published

Hello I am currently a pre nursing student in WCU starting in Oct. 29 this year. All my transfer credits transferred except my science classes (anatomy, physiology, microbio, and chemistry) because theyre all 8 years old. Has anyone taken a science challenge exam? If so, how hard is the test and is it possible to take all 4 of them by December 14 which is the deadline they gave me to finish all four exams. Thanks!

Specializes in Psychiatry.

Is it possible to fast track those science classes; take them in 6-8 weeks? Have you checked around with other nursing programs to see if there's a time limit on the sciences?

Also could you possibly apply to other schools that don't cost an insane amount of money. It will cost you about 92 thousand dollars (if you have no more prereqs left), and that's without interest.

I checked every nursing schools in the area and applied in most of them for the last 5 years and got either waitlisted or denied because of my 3.2 GPA. I understand West Coast is crazy expensive but Im not getting any younger and have to start nursing school asap. I have friends that graduated West Coast and are living great lives.

Have you finally took it? Did you pass? I am trying to test it out too. Please let me know. Thanks
