Wellstar 2016 Residency

I have an interview coming up for the Wellstar New Grad Residency. Anyone know what the interview process is like? Also, what the residency process is like? The recruiter told me that multiple managers would be at the interview but did not specify specialties or which wellstar hospitals would be there. Any advice about the interviewing process or about the residency program in general would be awesome! Thanks!

It was good! It was a panel interview with a series of five questions.

What units were the managers from?

I went through the WellStar residency program when I was a new grad. It's a great and helpful program. I recommend it. Best of luck to everyone

The unit managers were from a variety of units. They were also from different hospitals. I think they tried to include every unit on the panel.

It was a med surg cardiac tele floor.

They told me today it should be about a week before I would hear anything. They did tell me that I would get an email if they decide not to hire me. I never received the skills survey references though and they said they have to fix it to where I can do it. Did you do that already?

I really don't know. It lasted all of 12 minutes. They asked me basic question but I froze up on one. They knew I did not want to do med/surg so I feel like a lot of them did not listen. All of the managers were either med surg or women's health. How do you feel about it? Have you heard back yet?

Hello guys! I'm new to this board. I had my interview with WellStar last week, but no calls back yet. Have you guys heard anything or have been offered a position yet??

I interviewed on Wednesday and received a call back today, Friday. They told me that I would be receiving a call Monday regarding more information about units that want to offer a job. Have you heard anything yet?

I just received an email offering me a job at Cobb. Does anyone know anything about Cobb?? I originally wanted Kennestone so I am not sure what I am going to do yet
