I was a little psyched out by all the threads here about how difficult this test is but I was going to 'go with it' and take the exam on Monday (Dec. 20) like I had scheduled months ago. Then I took the practice exams in the back of the study guide. WOW- it appears I have a lot to learn (or relearn) because I did terrible on them!
I'm going to spend the next couple of weeks really diving into the study guide and am going to take it on January 14... right before the new semester begins.
What kills me is I've always been strong in reading comprehension and English and both I bombed on the practice.
So I definitely need to brush up on all of that stuff. I'm also so confused about what I should know for the science portion. I mean, you can't memorize EVERYTHING from a chem, micro, a&p 1,2 and general bio for this test. How in the world am I supposed to know what to study for? It just seems the area of information to draw from is so huge, that I can study for months on end and not touch on one thing they will ask on the exam. It seems so fruitless.
Anyway... if anyone cares to share that Hills-McGraw study PDF studyguide with me I'd be forever grateful.
