Thank you. congratulations again. in regards to my question , that i just post earlier, maybe i will send the form change name and update my file , i need to give ssn. by tue. they have no office tomorrow and monday. but can anyone answer my question that i post. earlier

aleena23 hi! i had somewhat of a similar problem with my name and the boards. they apparently mis-spelled my last name. so i called them to see how i can correct this. they told me to fax a letter with verbiage to correct my last name and also fax a copy of my driver's license with the correct name spelling. i called them a week later to double check if the change was made and it wasn't! so i escalated the issue and then had it fixed that day. you want to make sure your name in their system is the same name on your id otherwise you wont be able to take your test. if i were you, i would call them to make sure they changed it. also, if you have your both your maiden and married name on your id that makes things easier. btw, were you asking whether to use just your maiden name or maiden name? because, it basically personal preference. again just make sure your id name matches their system.

quick question to everyone.....what verson of exam cram nclex-pn do you guys recommend? there are 2 versions

- nlcex-pn exam cram

- nclex-pn practice questions exam cram

basically, i want assess whether i can pass a nclex style cat (computer adaptive test). thanks in advance!

They both have the disc where u can take the CAT exam... The pratice question book has the same questions on the disc!

i dont change right away my name in BON, bec. i dont have any valid id aside from passport and my greencard is will be on my hand by next month, and dont have time before my ATT expired. so i decided to change my name and pass my ssn after i took the exam, but they dont have office for tom. and for monday so when? hmmm im nervous for tomorrow

Aleena: regarding ur question. I guess we have the same situation. I submitted my retake registration here in NY with my maiden name coz I just got married and I don't have a new id yet with my new name so i decided to use my maiden name first so there will be no hassle at all. They told me the same thing, do the name change after I pass the test. Does ur bon have a form for change of name? Coz NY does have. Well, I know u can do it! Goodluck on ur test tomorrow.

Yes, after you pass the test. Because that was the instruction given to me by the NY BON. Actually, I haven't gave them my SSN too becoz it is on my married name as well. So what I am going to do is I will just put an attachment and write the SSN on the form (name change) which was blank before. Just for them to see that I already have it. I don't think SSN is a big deal. But name change is more important for the license.:) Let me know if it works for u coz once i passed too i will do the same thing as yours with the change name and SSN.
