Just want to say "Hello" from one New York nurse to another!
Ted
HI,I am from Orange County N.Y been an LPN 1 year this June work at Orange Regional Medical Center per diem and at a local Planned Parenthood. Lived here for about 25 years, but was born and raised in Queens N.Y
I lived there too in 1968 for a few months, then moved to Fair Oaks, and then back to Liberty where I grew up, and finally to Neversink where I lived 18 years. And didnt you just love the Emporium??? I vacation in Wurtsboro but never knew anyone else who ever heard of the place. Except Jerry Seinfeld who mentioned it in one epsiode.
I know what ya mean. Where I currently live, there are 3 new super highways, all leading to here, so this area is rapidly growing into a new city. But I love the conveniences, and they cater to seniors here in a wonderful way. My rides on the county van are free for example.Yes I am, I love it up here but it is getting crowed more and more each year.
I am starting Nursing school in at LIU in Brooklyn. What school are you attending?Hi Everyone,I am really excited...I will be starting the nursing program on Tuesday. I am trying to finish some of the readings before I start (a listing was sent to me during the winter bk). Is there anyone out there that will be starting a program in Jan? Just curious
Hi everyone!Want to give a shout out to all my fellow New Yorker's!
Peace and love to all!

Hi,
I live in CNY but everyone else calls it upstate NY. I live near Syracuse and work in an area hospital. I am a grad of St. Joseph's School of Nursing. I'm also a psychiatric RN.
