3 weeks left of LPN school, do I apply now?

I applied for two jobs this week one in a long term care facility and one at a doctors office. They have not got back to me yet. I was wondering should I make a follow up phone call while I am still in school? Or should I wait until I graduate or even pass the NCLEX?

If you wait until you pass the NCLEX you won't have to worry about getting rejected because you don't have a license yet. That is an easy reason to reject your application at this point when you consider that employers get many more applications than they have positions available. Good luck with your NCLEX and job hunt.

I'm 6 weeks away from graduating and I'm not going to start applying until I graduate from NS, however I'm currently looking for CNA jobs so that I can have my foot in the door.
