3 weeks left of LPN school, do I apply now?

I applied for two jobs this week one in a long term care facility and one at a doctors office. They have not got back to me yet. I was wondering should I make a follow up phone call while I am still in school? Or should I wait until I graduate or even pass the NCLEX?

If you wait until you pass the NCLEX you won't have to worry about getting rejected because you don't have a license yet. That is an easy reason to reject your application at this point when you consider that employers get many more applications than they have positions available. I'm 6 weeks away from graduating and I'm not going to start applying until I graduate from NS, however I'm currently looking for CNA jobs so that I can have my foot in the door.
