2 weeks and 4 days later...

i FAILED the NCLEX-RN! having to wait was the worst, and getting the bad results was horrible.

if i took my exam on august 1st, that means the earliest i can take it is sept. 15 right?

plus, i want to take a review class (any suggestions?) but my new grad program starts on sept. 11. is it do-able to do both? or should i try an online course?

i'm pretty crushed, but i know i have plenty of chances to take it again and pass. any suggestions for my next step (and encouragement) would be greatly appreciated!

Can you even start the new grad program before passing NCLEX??

I'm sorry about your news....did you try the Kaplan review and Saunders before? That's what most posters seem to have the best luck with.

Take the test when you feel ready, and don't try to mix the new job with your studying

In my state whenever you fail nclex you cannot practice as a graduate nurse anymore, t5ake care.

yeah, i called the hospital today and unfortunately i am now delayed in starting the new grad program. this means that i have time to take a review class to hopefully start by october. we'll see.

Velvet,

Stay positive, I found that what helped me the most was the NCSBN study program, it is online and you pay for the length of time you need to review, I would also suggest that you try the NCLEX 3500 cd. I will keep you in my prayers. Good luck.
