Getting a bit ahead of things. Here's an easy 5 minute workout you can do at home with no equipment. If you want to post your numbers, a recipe or discussion topic for this week go ahead. I am plowing and prepping my garden for Fall planting this weekend so I'll be in and out of the board.

So the first week of every month is usually my cleanse week. Lots of green leafy fiber, minimal meat and tons of fluids. I almost always end up cheating at some point - but we got to start somewhere!

My doctor got upset that I was doing intermittant fasting (Not a good idea for a person on insulin) I eat a lot of water mellon but it's a bit higher in sugar than I like due to my diabetes. Fruit with more fiber is better. Peaches and stone fruits are in season though as well as my citrus. I make a high energy green tea with lemon and added caffiene and electrolytes. Have a bowl of oatmeal with yogurt for breakfast, a light snack for lunch, a nd a regular dinner. On work days I start off with coffee and a protien shake, Light lunch and regular dinner. We are in the midst of a Summer heat wave which makes walking difficult but I will be sweating it ou in my green house today as I finishe setting up my green house for hydroponics.

Have a niche day everyone and don't forget to stretch and breath.

So it's Sunday and I have made a commitment to cut down on my coffee intake. It appears that Caffiene causes an increase in free cortisol which is a primary factor in the creation of belly fat.

So small espresso size cup of Joe, lots of water and electrolytes and decaff green tea, We are lighting up the smoker to cook some chicken and brisquit today.

Caffeine is a trigger for some roseacea exacerbation flare-ups for me. After a cup of coffee, my face is all aglow. Like a nasty flush & warm!

At work, all the LOLs would say "oh, you have such rosy cheeks!"
